Animal Welfare Act of 1998
REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8485
AN ACT TO PROMOTE ANIMAL WELFARE IN THE PHILIPPINES, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "THE ANIMAL WELFARE ACT OF 1998".
Section 1. It is the purpose of this Act to protect and promote the welfare of all animals in the Philippines by supervising and regulating the establishment and operations of all facilities utilized for breeding, maintaining, keeping, treating or training of all animals either as objects of trade or as household pets. For purposes of this Act, pet animal shall include birds.
Sec. 2. No person, association, partnership, corporation, cooperative or any government agency or instrumentality including slaughter houses shall establish, maintain and operate any pet shop, kennel, veterinary clinic, veterinary hospital, stockyard, corral, stud farm or stock farm or zoo for the breeding, treatment, sale or trading, or training of animals without first securing from the Bureau of Animal Industry a certificate of registration therefor.

Lupin Dadog (2000-2011)
Dumating sa buhay ng aming pamilya si Lupin noong september 2000, tandang tanda ko pa kasi 2000 sydney olympics noon. Si Lupin ay ipinangalan ng tatay ko sa sikat na anime character na si Lupin III. Pero mag kaibang mag kaiba ang ugali ni Lupin III kay Lupin Dadog. Maliit lang si Lupin tapos pahaba ang kanyang katawan. May pagkamataba siya. Bigay siya ng kapitbahay namin, noong binigay siya sa amin ay kasama ni Lupin ang kanyang kapatid na si Gotenks na ipinangalan sa apo ni Son Gokou ng Dragon ball Z. Si Gotenks naman ay na pa bigay sa mga pinsan ko.

A non-profit corporation with 300 employees and two million members and supporters, it says it is the largest animal rights group in the world. Its slogan is "animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment."
Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS)
The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a non-government institution situated in the Philippines. Its advocacies focus on the different issues concerning animal rights and welfare. PAWS is currently active, spreading its advocacies to the people by engaging in different rallies, bringing up massive campaigns to different companies and institutions, giving stray animals a new home, and organizing different activities like formal dinners for fund-raising. All of PAWS activities are for the welfare of both farm, and domestic animals.
